SOUTH END COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER PRACTITIONERS AT WORKVice President, Behavioral Health Services

For almost 25 years Ray Walden has dedicated his career to providing access to children and adults in need of behavioral health services at the South End Community Health Center. As Vice President of Behavioral Health, he is responsible for the administration of those services to over 1,500 patients each year. During his tenure he has significantly expanded programs and services within the department with a focus on building a team that is both multicultural/multilingual.

Previously, Ray worked at a child welfare agency as a contract manager and has had a long practice as a clinical social worker working with children, youth and families.

Ray received his Master’s degree in social work at Simmons School of Social Work, Boston-MA and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
