Walk-In Care

The South End Community Health Center offers same day treatment for common illnesses or minor injuries (non-life threatening) but require immediate attention. You should make an appointment with your SECHC Primary Care Physician for routine physicals or medical visits that do not need to be addressed the same day. We also offer preventive services and vaccinations.

Efficiency and Access: When you have a minor injury or illness, we encourage you to come directly to the health center for immediate care. Please call Walk-In Care at (617) 425-2005 if you have questions or wonder whether your condition would be appropriate for this service.

Convenience and Quality: Walk-In Care is run on a first come, first served basis. Compared with going to the emergency room, wait time is minimal and the co-pay may be less depending on your health insurance.

Affordable: Please check with your insurance if you need a referral. We accept most health insurance plans; however, if you do not have health coverage we can help you apply for affordable, comprehensive coverage that meets your financial and health care needs.
