With the hiring of our new Medical Director, Pablo Hernandez, MD, we are also introducing a new medical specialty to our services. Dr. Hernandez is a board certified Family Medicine physician and along with John Paul Kruger, MD, who is also a Family medicine physician, together they will form a new practice in the center called Family Medicine.
Family Medicine is a medical specialty concerned with comprehensive health care for the individual and the entire family. It is the specialty of breadth that integrates the biological, clinical and behavioral science. The scope of family practice is not limited by the patient’s age or sex, condition or disease.
Family doctors at SECHC take care of managing all your health care needs, whether you are well or ill. With an emphasis on long-term continuing care and disease prevention, we are here to serve you and your entire family; from infants, toddlers, school-age children, teens, young adults, pregnant women, adults and seniors. In short, we care for your while family, one person at a time.
Together with our Pediatrics Department, our Adult Medicine Department and our OBGYN Department, Family Medicine will offer a another choice to patients for their primary care at the center. All offer the same high quality physicians and nurses, and no one department is recommended over the other; it’s simply a matter of what your personal preference is for your medical care.
