Welcome Dr. Ebele C. Okpokwasili-Johnson

Dr. Ebele C. Okpokwasili-Johnson, graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Medicine and School of Public Health.

She received additional training at McLean Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital, where she completed both her residency and fellowship in adult and child psychiatry respectively. During medical school, she also was part of Columbia University’s Stanley Scholars Program- Department of Psychiatry.

Additionally, she has received the Price Award for Clinical and Academic Excellence from McLean Hospital’s Neurology Service and the Codman Health Care Evaluation Award, from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Medicine and School of Public Health.

Born in New York -Dr. Okpokwasili-Johnson, is a Nigerian-American, who is fluent in Spanish and specializes in autism, bipolar disorder, violence and its association to depression and suicide in youth.
